Happy Chrismas everyone is that time is year and It’s safe to say 2025 was an amazing year for gamers, with something exciting for every genre and plenty of unexpected hits. Now, as we head into 2026, the long-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally on the horizon, but there’s a lot more to look forward to beyond its spotlight.

It’s fair to say that 2025 was an incredible year for gamers. No matter the genre you prefer, there was something for everyone and a whole host of surprises. As we move into 2026, we already have the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 on the docket, but don’t let its shadow distract you from the rest of the year’s lineup.
Our calendar currently looks a little sparse, but don’t worry. We will be regularly updating it throughout the year with the latest news on newly announced games, delays, reviews, and releases. We’re also including tabletop releases such as upcoming Magic: The Gathering sets for the first time. So set your bookmarks and remember to check back regularly for the latest game release updates.

The end of 2025 is looking a little bleak as The Eternal Life of Goldman and Paralives move into our 2026 lineup, alongside Grand Theft Auto 6. Paralives is now set to hit Early Access on May 25, 2026, while Rockstar is now keeping us waiting until November 19 for GTA 6. The Eternal Life of Goldman does not yet have a confirmed release date.

This January has plenty to offer gamers of all tastes. RPG fans can look forward to The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon. Horror enthusiasts have Pathologic 3, Brokenlore: Unfollow, and I Hate This Place to dive into, while those craving a challenge might check out the souls-like Code Vein 2.
