A new Developer Direct stream from Xbox is scheduled for next week, promising an in-depth look at Forza Horizon 6, the upcoming installment in the open-world racing franchise set in Japan. However, it appears that some details may have been inadvertently revealed ahead of time. A user on X/Twitter, known as XBOX INFINITE, shared what seems to be an in-game promotion for Forza Horizon 6, claiming to have encountered a pop-up after leaving their garage in Forza Horizon 5. This pop-up features new artwork highlighting one of the breathtaking locations players can expect in the next Horizon Festival, along with a pre-order incentive that includes an exclusive, pre-tuned Ferrari J50. The game is expected to launch with over 550 real-world cars and the largest open world in the series to date. The Premium Edition will offer Early Access on May 15, with the standard release set for May 19, along with various additional content packs. While Xbox and Playground Games have yet to confirm these details, past instances of in-game notifications hint at the likelihood of this information being accurate. Forza Horizon 6 is currently slated for release on Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a potential PS5 version likely, given the success of its predecessor on Sony’s platform.
