Christmas is just around the corner, and I’m excited to share some of the new games coming to Xbox this month. I can’t list them all, but here are a few I’ve picked out.
- Marvel Cosmic Invasion (December 1): “A cosmic battle awaits! Choose between 15 Marvel heroes in this frenetic action beat ‘em up to fight against the deadly Annihilation Wave threatening the galaxy. From New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, the future of the Marvel Universe will be fought for across the stars!”
- Red Dead Redemption for Xbox Series X & S (December 2): “Players on Xbox Series X|S can look forward to a smooth 60 frames per second experience, enhanced image quality, HDR support, and resolutions up to 4K. On Nintendo Switch 2, we’ve taken full advantage of this new hardware with support for DLSS, HDR, mouse controls, and the same fluid 60 frames per second gameplay at high resolution.”
- Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC (December 4): “In our war against the Night, every battle left a scar. These wounds were given will. A foul life, born of cast-away souls. Steel your resolve, Nightfarers. This hunt must be seen to its end.”
- Octopath Traveler 0 (December 4): “Start from zero and discover the newest entry in the OCTOPATH TRAVELER series. Experience a story of restoration and retribution over the divine rings—an epic saga that unfolds across the realm of Orsterra.”
- Routine (December 4): “ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future. Explore and investigate your surroundings as you survive against unknown threats.”
- Multiple Yakuza Upgrades (December 8): “The Dec. 8th Like a Dragon & Yakuza™ series 20th Anniversary releases of Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam will offer discount options to players who have existing digital versions of Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 as a token of appreciation for their continued support of the series.”
- Thank Goodness You’re Here! (December 9): “Thank Goodness You’re Here! is an absurd comedy slapformer set in the bizarre Northern English town of Barnsworth. As a traveling salesman, take the time to see the sights and meet the locals, who are very eager to give you a series of increasingly odd jobs…”
- Terminator 2D: NO FATE (December 12): “Experience the thrill of Terminator 2: Judgment Day with arcade action & pixel-perfect graphics! In this unique story blending iconic scenes from the movie with original scenarios and multiple endings, humanity’s fate is yours to decide.”
